Location
2108 North Ocean Boulevard, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. The park is on the oceanfront at 22nd Avenue North, two blocks south of Sea Mountain Highway.
Current park amenities
The City lists accessible beach access, beach showers, restrooms, swings and benches, natural landscaping, and a 50-by-65-foot open lawn. The park also has a wind turbine installed as an energy-education project. See the official Cherry Grove Oceanfront Park page for current facility information.
Parking
On-site parking is limited to two accessible spaces. Other public parking is available near the Sea Mountain street end. Do not assume a nearby private lot allows park or beach parking.
For 2026, the City’s paid-parking season runs March 1 through October 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The standard rate is currently $4 per hour, while the Seaview Lot is $2 per hour. Use the City’s parking FAQs and beach-access map because locations, rates, and rules can change.
Before visiting
- The official facility page does not promise 24-hour access or private-event rental, so confirm those details with the City before planning an event or late-night visit.
- Follow the current North Myrtle Beach beach laws and posted signs.
- Check the City’s beach-safety guidance, weather, and lifeguard flags before entering the ocean.
